Careyes Polo Club has hosted the International Polo Federation (FIP) playoffs with teams from the USA, Canada, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. Along with two Ambassador Cups, The Bodegueros Cup, and La Herradura clinics with the Grace Brothers. Players from the USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, England, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico are our regular guests. Since 2000, with the famous Agua Alta tournament, Costa Careyes Polo Club has become a truly international club.

Established as one of the top courses in Mexico, an 18 -hole, par -72 Tamarindo Golf Course features breathtaking fairways fringed by palm trees and beaches. The award-winning design by the renowned golf architect David Fleming.

Based on the lunar calendar, the Chinese New Year is celebrated during the first new moon of spring – explaining why there is not an exact day to commemorate it like the western celebration of New Year’s. The arrival of the animal of the Chinese horoscope sets the beginning of the Chinese spring and opens the season of several festivals that wish to attract good fortune for the year.
Plaza de los Caballeros
La Plaza Caballeros del Sol, a newly created square and center for cultural and artistic expression with multifunctional purposes. It also showcases an open-air cinema and theater, art gallery, a conference and meeting space for 100. Shops of Mexican arts & crafts, boutiques, pizzeria, bar and tacos
Copa del Sol
The Copa del Sol: an Architectural Masterpiece created by Gian Franco Brignone on top of the cliff of Teopa beach. It represents a woman’s womb receiving life when the sun settles in during the Equinoxe. It creates an amazing acoustic and vision to experience.
Pyramideon
The Pyramideon, a pyramid carved out from the mountain, represents a man enclosed in his cave. It reunites with the woman he loves (La Copa del Sol) during the Equinoxe twice a year, when the sunray lays on top of the Copa and through the whole of the cave touching the top of the pyramid.
